"Le petit nombre de ceux qui sont sauves."

There is an accent on the e in sauves, but I don't know how to make those.

For those who I have unjustly offended, please forgive me. Please disregard my posts where I lacked charity and you will see that I am actually a very nice person. Disregard my opinions on "NFP", "Baptism of Desire/Blood" and the changes made to the sacra

  • If you have windows, you have something called a character map. It really comes in handy.
    Matthew 5:37

  • "Le petit nombre qui sont sauvés" doesn't sound that idiomatic,  I'd go for "Le petit nombre des élus" ( the small number of the elect ).  If you are translating the St. Leonard of Port-Maurice speech, that is the agreed-upon way to do it, it seems.

I cannot use the Alt codes on this laptop.  Plus it is unwieldy if you're typing lots of French.  If that is the case for you, go into the Control Panel and choose the international keyboard setting.  You'll have to spend five minutes learning about it.  One example:  For an accent aigu, you type an apostrophe and then the letter.  ' + e = é

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

This is the kind of post that deserves thumbs up.
