  • I'm starting a new venture publishing old Catholic books and tracts dealing with various subject matter.  The first book that I'm publishing is an old book that refutes Americanism, it's a real gem.  God willing, it will be published within the next few weeks.  I am re-typing all of the material that I have acquired, which, according to modern standards, is an extremely slow, tedious process.  My fingers are getting very tired so if anyone has some free time and can type fast, send me a PM.

  • I am not a fast typer. Keep me apprised of when it is ready for sale, so I can order a copy. I am a big fan of any work that demolishes Americanism. Also, have you looked into putting it for sale on the kindle or nook? I am not sure how this would be done, but i have seen self-published books sold on these platforms.

    Thank you,
    Andy

  • My personal preference is real books, I have alot of material on PDF and can hardly stand reading them, but I suppose I shouldn't impose my personal preferences on the market.  Would you purchase an actual book over an electronic version of the same?

Most books I prefer as hardcopy, I bought an expensive Haydock even though I can read it online. When I quote it as part of apologetics I use the online version.

For most apologetics I would prefer to have both. A hardcopy so I can relax and read it away from my computer and a pdf or online copy that I can instant quote when arguing on say this forum.

  • I prefer the physical over the electronic text. I read faster on ink and paper than what I do on the screen, and it's easier on my eyes. So if I had the money I would buy the actual hard cover or paperback book.

Well, I don't have OCD, but I do have a bit of anxiety.  And I don't have any money to buy technology either ;)

I would PM you, but I'm not an established member here yet.

I used to be a typist.  I can work for a fee, if you're interested.  90wpm.

  • I buy books in both formats. I have a nook and find it fine on my eyes. I don't like reading pdf's as the text is not nice on the nook player, but the nook specific text is nice.
