    I am a Coptic Orthodox Christian.

    Like many Coptic Christians, we have always had a great affinity towards the Catholic Church. We share many saints in common.

    I joined in order to ask you some opinions, your views and general theological differences between us.

    I find it quite edifying how Coptic Christians are ready at the drop of a hat to stand up and defend their shameless love for Our Lady.

    I like to show them a picture of our Mother of Perpetual Help, and see them step forward with enthusiasm and joy in their eyes, to say,



    "She is Egyptian!  She is from my country!  Holy Mary!"




    And then they kiss the picture, devoutly.
