Back to the subject of incorrupt bodies, You have probably never heard, Gwaredd, of an Aussie called Eileen O'Connor, of poor Irish extraction, no doubt. Eileen fell out of her cot as a baby, resulting in her contracting spinal Tuberculosis. She suffered excruciating pain, was hunch-backed and dwarfed as a result, for the rest of her 28 years. Eileen lived in the next suburb to me. She spent her life in caring for others in spite of being bedridden for most of her life.
She had as her spiritual director Fr Edward McGrath, and together they inspired and established Our Lady's Nurses for the poor. As a children I used to see these nurses walking from house to house in their quaint habits, which sadly they have abandoned. They were very distinctive and I loved to see them.

That a person living such a humble and joyful life in spite of all odds, can give herself so completely to God and His Poor, this is sufficient to give others hope that the Church is our only hope. This in spite of the terrible mess we are in.God bless you.
