There is a lot of validity in questioning the value of elections, particularly when both candidates will increase the size of government. Republics increase government too so it's not like the D's are all for Big Govt and the R's are looking to cut govt spending.
But as for this article... It sounds like a lot of bloodlust with it's 1% vs. 99% as it society could be chopped up so neatly.
I think the very morality of unions is worthy of being debated. And particularly government unions. A union must have two opposing sides, labor vs. management. But in govt unions, oftentimes the elected politicians acting as "management" are arm in arm with "labor" so there is no counterweight. Hence, you have some govt worker in Wisonson making 100K per year doing absolutely nothing of value to anyone. And when you get these lousy teachers who almost can't be fired, well, you can just bet there's a union behind that.
Just as important, maybe even more, is that the thinking behind this article is absolutely antithetical to any Catholic restoration.
