I can't sleep.
No, I couldn't plow through the 100+ pages of the B16 'Caritas' business.
It's kind of beyond Resistance if it's a global one-world government B16 is all on about.
It looks like the Great Apostacy, the La Sallette "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist"

Is there a link?

Sorry I can't do links, but it's at AQ.
Tick Tock

Thanks you for the link to the Original dread, Clare.
Fr. Scott says:
" [/b]ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT
The most shocking and long-reaching conclusion of this
positive promotion of globalisation on a human and cultural
level is the call for an international authority to impose it
legally, to enforce in an obligatory manner the dialogue
between economies, cultures, religions and peoples as
promoted by this intergral humanism....."
This is Fr. Scott at his best.
God bless you, dear Fr. Scott

Indeed. BTW, have you read Msgr. Robert Hughes Benson "Lord of this World"? Uncanny how accurate he is eventhough it was written in 1907-10.
I saw one of our members once again defending what is undefendable. Bending himself over backward to not see the obvious. Ask yourselves one question. Are those words Catholic, YES or NO. There is no inbetween.

I have read that, and I did a report on it for school last year (public school unfortunately). It is quite unsettling how accurate his almost prophetic novel is.

Dawn, for various practical reasons I had no idea of who o bam a was until right before the elections -even still I was not interested.
Then I happened upon his gig in Germany, the NYTimes photo essay and his speech about president of the World. I immediately thought of Msr. Benson's classic.
Tick tock.
hey no wonder the kids are freaked out when they see a photo of B16. (bwahahahah)

Ah, at last the disinfo chimps have arrived to subtly undermine Fr. Scott's very clear words. (at AQ)
There is nothing nebulous or hazy about what Fr. Scott wrote.
He just took a scalpel and got right down to the point.
Anyway, it's a lot easier to go after Fr. Scott than it is to suffer the brain haemmorage of reading the Encyclical from the Dark Side. Fr. Scott is clear and simple, B16 is using sorcery.
-
Yes, that is what I caught as well. All of the sudden Fr. Scott does not know what he is speaking of.
I just read today where Julian Felsenburg, the anti_christ in this book is a young man from Vermont. He came from nowhere and rose to the United States Senate. Benson points out that no one seemed to have any biography on Felsenburg before he took the world by storm. How? Stop me if you have heard this before, but with his force of personality and gift of oratory. YIKES!
-
Obama is not he Anti-Christ, he is an anti-christ.
-
Yes, I know, it is strange how his character written so long ago is like Obama. Obama could not put together a square dance at this point he is tanking fast.
-
I tend to think that Fr. Scott left the prez out of this because it was about the new form of charity and truth, coming right out of Rome.
The so-called "institutional church" has the largest, oldest infrastructure on Earth. This entity is what the Antichrist wants to mimic.
This encylical (can I even spell??) MIMICS and MOCKS, if I take Fr. Scott's analysis of it to heart. Relying on a trustworthy priest to read and understand what the warlocks are up to.
-
You are right Elizabeth, and it provides further winnowing as we see from those on Angelqueen who are jumping through mental hoops to explain why they think Benedict did not mean what Fr. Scott has rightfully shown Benedict to mean.
No, I confused things, I mentioned the book because it shows how the humanist manifesto was in full effect for this Felsenburg to take his seat. Big difference thought, the two popes in this book are REAL CATHOLICS. I especially loved the ending when the Pontiff defeats the anti-Christ during a procession of the Eucharist.
-
I read Lord of the World like 15 years ago-
does it actually have the Humanist Manifesto???????
because if it does and Fr. titled his analysis the same
 :faint:  :faint:  :faint:  :faint:
We were made for this, right?

If I may say so, your public school has done a fine job with you. Much better than some traddie dungeons I can think of.
Did you get a good grade on your report?
-
It does not call it the Manifesto but it is the age of Humanism when humans realize that God is gone, never was and they come to recognize their own deity. So, the exact word is not there but darned if the meaning is not the very same. Elizabeth, remember the Euthanasia crews?

Yes, I did, fortunately. It ended up being a discussion between my teacher and I about the Freemasonic infiltration of society, Protestantism, and the cult of man -- the rest of the class was in the dust. :)

LOL, way to go, Vlad.
One of my children at public school says the teachers have pictures of the BVM at their desks and/or wear Miraculous Medals, so go figure.
-
-
Thanks, Dawn. So.
Then it's either a play on words, the communist manifesto or
an allusion to Msr. Benson, or a combination of both.
Nobody who has read The Humanist Manifesto can
claim that nobody tried to warn him.

When I was in middle school, I had a math teacher who I saw at Mass every week, who sent all of his children to a Catholic school. It depends really, on where you live. I'd like to go to a Catholic school though, so that I could go to Mass every day....when I get out of the house, I will go to college near a Latin Mass location so that I can go to daily Mass....it is my only desire.
