  • Thanks, Spiritus! I wish the same for you and yours.  :ready-to-eat:

I'm not in the USA right now so there will be no turkey for me. It's just another day of work here.

I try to give thanks every day, though, for the fact that I do have food to eat and a roof over my head.

  •

Today it's as good as it gets:  Palestrina flowing through the house, a turkey roasting, and making a beautiful gingerbread house with the kids.  Weather all dark and blustery with wold skies, and Daddy home to hang out with us.

I thank God that my children still love making gingerbread houses and that they can enjoy sacred music.

Then, tomorrow with the family gathering...the crazies!  :smoke-pot:

Father invited everyone to mass and a meal, and he said he's cooking a turkey, but I live too far (1 1/2 hrs) plus we'd already made plans, and my parents are coming over... next year- what about you?

  • Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  In spite of the dark gloom spreading over our country, we have so many blessing to be thankful for.
I count having the mass and the sacraments my greatest blessing!

  • Going to a TLM would be a great way to spend Thanksgiving. I don't access to one though.

I just got home from a big gathering with my mother's side of the family...and when I say big, I mean BIG. There must have been 11 kids running around, LOL. Tomorrow we're just having a Thanksgiving lunch, nothing huge.

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!

And yes,  I will be going to Mass.
