  • I won't be around tomorrow (contain yourselves!!) since I will be cooking up a storm  :chef:, so I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving - that Americanist feast day that we owe to the puritans who hated Catholics!

Don't eat too much and save plenty of room for the best part of any meal...dessert!   :guitar:

And remember, thanks to His Holiness, Pius XII, we can eat meat on the Friday after the feast day.

  • God Bless you as well. This is the one day out of the year I slip my brain into neutral and forget about Masons and Puritan's and other Americanist nonsense. Just cook and eat.

And, I am thankful for my friends I have made in my life due to this forum. So, Thanks to you Matthew

  • Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and thank you, Matthew, for the opportunity to learn here and share our Faith with others in good company. A Blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family and all on this forum.

Deo Gratias! We all have much to be grateful for, Faith, Family, Friends and health to name the first few on my list!
Blessed be God and Holy is His Name.

I love to listen to the Te Deum for the Thanksgiving holiday. This man does a fine job.  (The flute in the first few seconds is just for his note, so turn it up after that.)

and one more:  (the choir comes in after the 1st few seconds - beautiful)

  • I guess I better send wishes in advance too...

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am thankful first to God, who arranged it so that this forum may be, and that I may find it and benefit from it. And I would like to thank Matthew for all that he has done and will continue to do to make Cathinfo the best forum out there! And I am thankful that I have been able to get know or make the acquaintance of ALL of you on here!
