You know, 20 years ago was the 500th anniversary of the Discovery of America.

But there were very, very few celebrations of that event.  Why? Because the
liberals who were bent on squelching it started years ahead of time spreading
all manner of lies and calumny against everything related to Christopher
Columbus (Cristobal Colon in Spanish). So when 1992 came around, very
few took notice of the big semi-millenial date.
