  • Born January 19 1807. This is Lee-Jackson Week for those parts of the South that are still Southern, as it were. :cowboy:

Of course others will be marking that other individual of a human reprobate, communist, plagiarist and overall evil (wont say that word here that starts with a n and has two g's in it ;))

I raise my bourbon, my pipe tabaccy, and southern fried chicken in toasting a great Confederate. May the South rise again and become truly Catholic

                                                               Battle of Spotsylvania
                                                       (Late Spring, 1864)

West Point civil engineer, Robert E. Lee, builds a mile long trench defense, stopping Union troops cold in their march
on Richmond, VA.  In his mindless assault, Grant earns the title of "butcher" even of his own men.

  • He was probably the greatest general this country ever produced, with the exclusion of Washington. (Washington was a general before we were actually a country) He was also a gentleman and was respected by all.

He objected to his daughter marrying a Catholic but his granddaughter became a nun. (So nice to see a nun in full habit)

I believe-think Gen. Patton was Episcopalian also.

There’s a Patton museum near Ft. Knox, KY with some of his religious artifacts.
But, I hope he somehow converted during last weeks in the hospital.

He was onto the jews, called them the “lost tribe”.  So they murdered him.

As Father Fahey instructed, our natural leaders have been stolen from us.
