May the maternal solicitude and sovereign patronage of the glorious Mother of God, Blessed Mary ever-Virgin, together with the intercession of all Angels and Saints, avail you unto final perseverance and such progress in the cultivation of the interior life and of the life of prayer, that you may be enabled to attain unto the very heights of Christian perfection, thereby making you worthy to everlastingly contemplate and possess the Blessed Trinity in the heavenly hereafter; and may you also be given all the possible blessings requisite for a long life of health, tranquility, happiness, and assiduous fidelity and fruitful success in the worthy and decorous observance of duties of state.


May Our Lord God bless and overwhelm you with the abundance of every sort of heavenly grace and blessing possible in the present economy of Divine Providence, especially a greater and more efficacious zeal and love for His Most Blessed Mother, that you may love and serve Our Lord Jesus all the more perfectly.

Never underestimate the love and power of Mary, and never despair so long as you endeavor to be her worthy servant and child.

I wish my missal's illustrations had the profundity that your scans have.

I'm using the SSPX 1962 missal (the one they typeset from scratch).
I've also used the Fr. Lasance (and many others) in the past.

I always enjoy all the Latin phrases, the detailed drawings, the Catholic Faith that inebriates each picture, etc.

Thanks! This is why I take the trouble to scan as many of them as I can find.

The scans come from various sources.

The one in the original post came from an early 19th century Desclée edition of the famous prayer-book Cœleste Palmetum.


Remember: only on CathInfo can you find such treasures, because Hobbledehoy only posts scans and writings here and nowhere else.
