CathInfo is participating in the usual way, by giving everyone a RANDOMLY GENERATED medieval title and smiley-avatar.

I have to point this out every year: I haven't manually adjusted a single one of them, but you can bet that each time I "shuffle the deck" there will be some cases that you'd swear are more than just a fortuitous coincidence.

Let's see what strange coincidences we can get this year!

Every few hours I'll "shuffle the deck" which re-assigns every last member with a new title and avatar. When I do this, the old one's gone! So if you find anything hilarious, make sure to get a screen cap or something. I don't keep a complete record of all of them or anything. Once I reshuffle, the previous "round" is gone forever.

So like the weather in Texas, if you don't like your avatar or title, just wait a few hours!

This is all in good fun, so please don't be offended even if your medieval title is somewhat less than flattering.

P.S. For obvious reasons, only members get to participate in the fun today. Guests and lurkers are left out -- sorry!

I get the random shuffled deck part, but I would have thought some adjustments would have been made for gender.  (When I first saw the nicknames, I thought many of them were actually somewhat accurate, random or not.)

I am lots of things, many of them I'm sure not flattering, but "transgendered" is not one of them.

    A  FLORIDA COURT SETS
ATHEIST HOLY DAY
 
       In  Florida, an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days.  He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jєωs and observances of their holy days.  The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
 
       The case was brought before a judge.  After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!"
 

       The lawyer immediately stood and objecting to the ruling saying,
"Your honor, How can you possibly dismiss this case?  The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others.
  The Jєωs have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays..."  
       The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counselor, is woefully ignorant."  
       The lawyer said," Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."  
       The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fool’s Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.'  Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore,
April 1st is his day.
 
Court is adjourned..."

You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!

That might be a good improvement for the future. I do have many members set to "male" or "female" (though most are still "members" as far as I know -- I have to set each person manually)

I could then split out the male-specific ones, etc.

Today is also First Friday, Pray the prayer Consecration of the Human Race, we need it. This prayer has such a deep meaning, especially in our time.  Think about it!
