I wouldn't doubt it.

I seldom forget Earth Day because the following day is my Wedding Anniversary...

A friend and I were talking about the classic conundrum -- who do you make friends with?

A) Those who live a common sense and natural life, close to the land, choosing the natural way for everything (midwife instead of OB, homeschooling, health, natural medicine, food, recreation, and a hundred other things), but are not Catholic, or

B) Those who are fellow members of the Mystical Body of Christ, but their lives are modern, unnatural, and ignorant of many things a human shouldn't be ignorant about (think: city slickers. "Where do tomatoes come from? Wal-mart, of course!")

It's hard to choose sometimes. I wish there were more people who belonged to A and B.

It looks like the resolution was made on Apr. 22nd, but the actual DAY is the 23rd:

‘MOTHER EARTH’ DAY  -  By a unanimous vote, the United Nations declared April 23 should be celebrated as International Mother Earth Day. The votes were cast by the 192 nations represented at the UN General Assembly on April 22, 2009.

Checking around the Internet, everyone else seems to think Earth Day was yesterday, Tuesday April 22nd, 2014.  Of course, that doesn't mean they won't be wrong about other things:
