Today is Day 2 of "Amazon Prime Day" -- basically a modern-day version of the old "Christmas in July" promotion to drum up some business during the slowest month of the year.
I ordered some pruning shears to "restock" and/or replace some that get used all the time. For what it's worth, all of them were on sale.
Some say Amazon is playing with their prices a bit (to make today's discounts look more impressive), but you are still getting a legit lower/sale price.
It's just not as big of a discount as they want you to think.
Probably the same thing they do every Christmas season...
If you shop at Amazon, and there is something you had your eye on, today might be a good day to pull the trigger and buy it. You might save a couple bucks.
