• I've heard stories of hydrogen sulfide and benzene in the air, but nothing about evacuations.

• I've heard about just that -- here on CathInfo.

I'm not sure about the credibility of the source, but I for one believe the possibility.

Let's see -- we have a lying government, a lying media, a MAN-made oil volcano gushing millions of gallons of oil into the ocean (that's NOT natural!)

And, as others have said,

IT'S NOT A FREAKING SPILL!

A spill is when you say "Oops!" and go for a paper towel or two.

Even the Exxon Valdez only contained a finite amount of oil. So when an oil tanker springs a leak (or even blows up) there is only so much damage that can be done.

But this is an OIL VOLCANO that erupted, and the eruption will continue for some months!

There is also little hope that it can be stopped by man's power. How's that for humbling, and scary!

Talk of vast pockets of explosive gas sounds very credible to me. We're talking a pocket with huge reserves of oil.

Also, WHAT HAPPENS when the pressure is lessened, and ocean water starts to enter the vast cavity created by the missing oil? Wouldn't that water get heated up when it goes deep into the earth's crust?

And then there's the issue of the dispersants, which dissolve the oil in the water (How does that help, may I ask?) and create air pollution dangerous to life.

This is a huge cataclysm, which has only begun.

I am especially interested in how it seems to mirror the book of the Apocalypse.

Apocalypse 8: 8-9

"And the second angel sounded the trumpet: and as it were a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood: And the third part of those creatures died, which had life in the sea, and the third part of the ships was destroyed."

A dead-on description of what has happened -- and what is still to come.

• Yes, can you imagine what would happen if man tried to plug a volcano while it was erupting?

I bet many are thinking of evacuating, forget about their homes the value just dropped to zero.
Please pray for my soul.

• I just heard on the propaganda news that a man from BP
promised that the leak(Volcano) will be plugged by
Monday.
The news is doing a massive cover up job.
It is was not for the internet, we would have no choice
but to believe them.

• Just put up a poll in this section, please let me know...thanks

The oil spill/eruption is tragic, but a clear sign that God wants us to repent and be near/dear to His heart and His Son's sacred heart again.

lets take this time to pray and do righteous deeds for one another

I'm surrounded by sycophants and liars.   Doesn't anyone have any integrity anymore?

• I don't think they'll actually do it.  They'll just let people start slowly dying.  Unless they want to test out the FEMA camps.  There have been measurements of air quality on the LA coast which have found benzene levels at 40x their "safe" levels.

I read an article in the Akron, OH newspaper that there are large numbers of dolphins and sharks in shallow waters near the coast, that marine scientists are speculating that it's because their normal environments are too polluted.

I've read speculation that there's a massive lake of oil below the surface covering nearly 40% of the Gulf.

It's already gotten into the current that heads into the Atlantic.

I think that this could very well be the "Wormwood" event.

• It is clear to me that this part of our punishment for commiting such grave sins and doing so with full heart and mind. It is very sad that all the blame is placed on the head of BP when in fact if anyone uses oil they contributed to the disaster by producing a demand. I find it odd that after 100 years we could not find a more effective means of traveling that does not include the use of a material that is so hazardous to carbon life forms. Not to worry to much as God has made all and can in His infinite wisdom fix all wrongs, however any fixing now is with some consequences toward our own health. We must pay for our sins either here or in the next life.
