  • Hi Clovis, I've read the first few paragraphs and I love it!

    I reckon this is where the phrase 'down in the dumps' originated.  The personal charisma of the Saint already makes its way known to the reader.

    Book 2 dealing with the life of St Benedict and book 4 dealing with the departure of the soul and eternal are particularly good.
