Hahaha I guess not...

I'm just very impressed by the melodies Glenn Stafford created.

I took roscoe off ignore because I figured he would mention the Beatles, and darn if I wasn't right. It's like in nearly all of his posts he either mentions the Beatles, MJ, or the word "Jansenist". I don't find his posts to be one bit humorous, it's terrible to see him recommend to a member here that their 17 year old relative should smoke pot to get over their problem. You're going back on ignore roscoe, I don't find your posts worth commenting on anymore.

Matthew, just curious why you are posting the link to a song from WarCraft, one of the worst video games ever made?

First of all, it's Warcraft II, which was a huge hit, which actually put the software company "Blizzard" on the map for years.

Quote from: Wikipedia
Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is a fantasy-themed real-time strategy (RTS) game published by Blizzard Entertainment and first released for DOS in 1995 and for Mac OS in 1996. The main game, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, earned enthusiastic reviews, won most of the major PC gaming awards in 1996, and sold 2 million of copies.[1]

Later in 1996 Blizzard released an expansion pack Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal for DOS and Mac OS, and a compilation Warcraft II: The Dark Saga for the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn. The Battle.net Edition, released in 1999, provided Blizzard's online gaming service, Battle.net, and replaced the MS-DOS version with a Windows one.

Players must collect resources, and produce buildings and units in order to defeat an opponent in combat on the ground, in the air and in some maps at sea. The more advanced combat units are produced at the same buildings as the basic units but also need the assistance of other buildings, or must be produced at buildings that have prerequisite buildings. The majority of the main screen shows the part of the territory on which the gamer is currently operating, and the minimap can select another location to appear in the larger display. The fog of war completely hides all territory which the gamer's has not explored, and shows only terrain but hides opponents' units and buildings if none of the gamer's units are present.

Warcraft II 's predecessor Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, released in 1994, gained good reviews, collected three awards and was a finalist for three others, and achieved solid commercial success. The game was the first typical RTS to be presented in a medieval setting and, by bringing multiplayer facilities to a wider audience, made this mode essential for future RTS titles. Warcraft: Orcs & Humans laid the ground for Blizzard's style of RTS, which emphasized personality and storyline. Although Blizzard's very successful Starcraft, first released in 1998, was set in a different universe, it was very similar to Warcraft II in gameplay and in attention to personality and storyline. In 1996 Blizzard announced Warcraft Adventures, an adventure game in the Warcraft universe, but canceled the game in 1998. Warcraft III, released in 2002, used parts of Warcraft Adventures' characters and storyline and extended the gameplay used in Warcraft II.

And even you (or others) think the game was awful, it doesn't change the fact that the music was truly amazing.

I don't really get that. Grand Theft Auto is a popular game, does that mean we should be going around praising it for its music or whatever else? I wasn't really talking about the music, I'm talking about the game. WarCraft has witch craft in it, why do you think they call it WarCraft? If you like the music, then no problem. I really did not even listen to much of it, I clicked out after a few seconds because I found the pictures of the game to be satanic. All I'm saying is that we should stay away from any video game that is immoral regardless of what music is in it. The music we can listen to, but I think you would have been better off just posting the song without the link to the game. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe SS and Matthew-- who both recognise the same anti-pope--- can listen to the above but leave me out. I believe CS recognses the anti-pope as well.

The image is demonic as well-- the whole movie probably is.

Well, I never said that Matthew meant any harm anyway. I was just saying I don't like the WarCraft games.

I should have the disks to this game somewhere.  Haven't played any wargames for a long time.  Maybe someday if I have a family, I'll play them with my sons.

The music -- thumbs down.  Video games, likewise.  You folks really ought to take Prof. Droleskey's advice  -- those whose choice is a traditional life, should eschew modern culture.  (Although he himself doesn't do as he says -- always making allusions to various types of junk entertainment in his writings.)

No Im not. You must be rather sensitive to the idea of mythical creatures. An armored goblin in itself (while representing evil) isn't satanic. Im getting the impression that you were raised in a home with a restricted selection of fiction literature (however that may not be so).

No offense, but you don't know what you're talking about. WarCraft is one of the most satanic games out there, and I really don't care if you consider me a wimp for avoiding it. Think what you want, but I'm not the one here who is clueless.

I agree. Of course, it isn't necessarily the video games in general that is a sin, it's either owning bad ones like WarCraft or becoming totally obssessed with them. Anyway, thanks for that post innocenza. It's nice to see someone on this thread agree with me.

I wasnt calling you a wimp for not playing the game. I have no more interest in it than you, and while I've never played the game before, I've seen and read enough blog posts and dorky screenshots from friends  to know that there is a strong magick element that is unwholesome to say the least. Dont get me wrong, it's something I would not let my kids play if I had any. For some reason I was under the impression that you weren't THAT familiar with the game to know what was really wrong with it and thought you were just bashing it for the screenshots displayed in the videos (since that was the focus of the topic). Im sorry I misunderstood.

That is ok, CS. I clicked out because when I saw that it was WarCraft I didn't want to look at it because I knew it was a satanic game so I clicked out. Misunderstandings happen. My apologies as well for getting a bit sharp. No hard feelings.
