    • My old Scapular is tattered, worn, and the string is detached. So I went out and bought a new one. Do I need to get the new scapular blessed by a priest? Is there any particular way to dispose the old one?

    • If you have already been invested in the brown scapular then you do not need to get the new one blessed. It might be a good idea to burn the old one.
