Right.  And I agree with the comment, and then extended it myself to women who have abortions.  Those questions asked of candidates are always under the hypothetical context of abortion begin declared legal.  I understand that, from a legal standpoint, since the current law makes it legal, prosecution is difficult.  Now, their actions were in fact contrary to natural law.  But put that aside.  Those questions to politicians are in the context of, "Hey, you want to make abortion illegal.  Would you prosecute women who have abortions too?"  In other words, would you charge women who actually HAVE the abortions rather than just the abortionists themselves?  Invariably the candidate backs down, due to the dread fear of feminists, and says that he would only prosecute the abortionists, not the poor innocent victims of abortion, the women.  In so answering they completely undermine the strength of their position.  Hey, if it's murder, then treat it as such in the law.  You must not really believe that it's murder.  And the liberals know how this undermines their position; that's why they regularly ask this question.

In fact, I get so sick of the Novus Ordo EWTN women whom they parade out there who have had abortions, and they INVARIABLY portray the women as VICTIMS of the abortion, making little mention of the murdered baby.  While God forgives repentant sinners, it's as if they never want to accept the responsibility for what they did.  It was ALWAYS some boyfriend who "made them" do it.  Or they sob about how tortured their consciences have been, and how much psychological harm they suffered ... as if it was some third party external to them that forced them to have the abortion (like the Communist Chinese do).  No, one of the conditions to forgiveness is to fully own up to your sin.  And, even then, once forgiven by God, the legal penalties for crimes still old, despite the absolution.  So they must be prepared to pay the consequences.  [Again, assuming a scenario where abortion is actually illegal.]  True repentance is shown in the example of the Good Thief, who accepted with resignation the punishment for his crime.  THAT is where forgiveness can happen.

They get secret abortions facilitated by PP, with public assistance, so the girls can return to their molestation situations only to later return for more "services."

GOSNELL takes no liberties with the real story, using only the accurate facts from the actual case and embellishing nothing. They didn't have to do any embellishing because the case is PREGNANT with content already. They had to decide what details to exclude for simplicity and time concerns. If the movie had run any longer, the audience would have been getting jaded, but it stops short of that, leaving you wanting more. Excellent planning! Then the viewers go home and research the case to find all the missing details the movie didn't HAVE TO include in order to hit a grand slam.

Bohemian Rhapsody is the complete opposite. They abandoned many very relevant facts of the Queen band's story choosing to replace most of them with complete fantasy that is absolutely not accurate historically. Anyone who really knows Freddy Mercury's story will see this movie and say, naaah, that's not right at all, and so on, but the style, flavor, kind of story they do tell is very close to the kind of story that really happened, within the limits of poetic license. That is EXACTLY what Hollywood dreams of seeing, complete fantasy, well played, that makes the unreal in the mind appear to be real in fact. Watch it happen. Gosnell -- ignored, Bohemian Rhapsody -- takes the cake.
