  • Zenith,
    You ARE kidding, right?

I pity the poor children who have to grow up in this world with such names.

If you aren't kidding, I'm sure many here will do their best to help you understand the importance of giving your child a patron saint to look up to, to imitate, and to implore the saint's help throughout one's life.  But, since I DO trust (hope?) that you are having a bit of fun with us, I'll just check back with you later.

  • Kidding? Why?
All these names are equally as nice as the more traditional sounding ones. I think names can change with the times. My favorite is Sage Moonblood!

    What's yours?

  • Why don't you tell the nice people what your name in real life is, Zenith?   :ready-to-eat:

Nah...Dweezil has got nothing on Moon Unit! Its just got that ring to it!

I wonder how many of these  :smoke-pot: it takes before you can bring yourself to name your child that.  :laugh2:

  • I can see why you might have a personal stake in this matter, Z.  :)

Interestingly, I actually quite like my name. Its probably because thats all I've ever known and because there are so few with this name though I don't know where some people pull these rediculous names from or what inspires them!

What is the story with naming babies with surnames or all these other meaningless and stupid names!

"Hi, the name's Brussel.....Brussel Sprout."

  • Clamidia

A very young girl at my hospital named her daughter this because she thought it sounded pretty. She couldn't spell either...which may be a good thing since she said her daughters name is Chlamydia a bacteria that is usually transmitted via sɛҳuąƖ transmission. She said the 'baby's daddy was talking about it and I thought it was real perrty'

I promise all of you here that the entire staff tried to talk sense to her and she did not 'get it'. Hence the poor child's name. Luckily the baby's middle name was easier to swallow: Heaven.

This was about 17 years ago. I've heard some really far out names that some within the black culture name their children and I am no longer surprised. I AM surprised when they name their children 'normal' names. How sad is that?
