  • I just read this article on Traditio:
    Quote
Is the Destruction at Our Lady's Shrine at Lourdes a Sign
Of Heaven's Abandonment of Francis-Bergoglio and His Newchurch of the New Order?

Is the destruction of Our Lady's venerable shrine at Lourdes, France, a sign of Heaven's abandonment of the unCatholic Newchurch of the New Order and its leaders? Is the age of Lourdes and Fatima finished with Our Lady acting as the agent of her Divine Son in withdrawing from the Newchurch of the New Order and its godless leaders?

Rampaging floods submerged Our Lady's Shrine at Lourdes, France, on June 20, 2013, wreaking devastation upon Lourdes and its famous pilgrimage site, which now faces ruin. Inundated were the Lourdes Grotto, where Our Lady appeared, and the healing pools were washed away. This is the second time in six months that Our Lady's Shrine has been devastated. On this second occasion melting snow has added to the weight of the flood waters and made this week’s deluge even more destructive than in October 2012.

The ferocious downpours continue, and the sanctuary, which has been taken over by the godless New Order for its phony "New Mess," may never recover, according to the Shrine's director, who stated: "We cannot tell a lie about the situation. Everything is broken. Everything is destroyed. It's catastrophic."

Even Newchurch officials admitted that Our Lady's Grotto, now submerged under mud, looks like "a vision of the Apocalypse." The Shrine has now been closed indefinitely. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by Agence-France Presse.]

Good Catholics, those who put all their eggs in the Fatima basket are seeing only a small part of God's Big Picture. Our Lady's apparition at Lourdes in 1858 is certainly more venerable than Fatima of 1917. Even earlier apparitions of Our Lady, such as that at La Salette, France, in 1846, predicted to the "T" the dire times in which we now live after the Modernist Vatican II Council (1962-1965) and its unCatholic Newpopes:

Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist. The demons of the air, together with the Antichrist, will work great wonders on the earth and in the air, and men will become ever more perverted.

It makes me wonder if God is removing His Protection and His Special Graces as part of the an imminent chatisement?  Destroying Lourdes doesn't really hurt the Vatican....it hurts the people who go there for healing and prayer.

    Thoughts???????

  • Always nice to see P.T. Barnum vindicated, isn't it?

Zeitun, if you want to read sci-fi, fine. But you're much better off with Ray Bradbury than the fever swamp prophets at Traditio.

Or self-appointed 'visionaries' that set up shop on IA and had a whole lot of supporters.  Right?  :scratchchin:

Maybe you would likewise scoff at this article in the NY Times?

"Catastrophe" ... "several million dollars’ worth of damages" ...
"natural disaster" ... "quite traumatized" ... "floodwaters had
swelled to “centennial” levels" ... "filled with as much as five
feet of water" ... “The damage is much more significant than
    in 2012.”

So which part is "sci-fi?"  Or, is it just the source you're all
worked up over?   When the Times writes it, it's not "sci-fi,"
but if Traditio writes it then it suddenly becomes "sci-fi?"

You can wonder away, but WHATEVER YOU DO, don't think about
what Traditio said because then you're a conspiracy theorist, or
    a tinfoil hatter!    :tinfoil:

  • This flood will be temporary. The waters will recede and the shrine will be repaired. Our Lady will not abandon us.

  • It is now June 29, about 4:36 (16:36) French time.  The Shrine is up and running.  This is the "sign", no one can stop Her, She is there and always will be.  Acts of nature are part of the free will of all of creation and catastrophic acts - although "allowed" - are not any indication of God's judgment.  Rather, more likely, an indication of the evil one.  There is no place on earth like Lourdes (I've been to Fatima also, as well as other shrines).  Once there, a piece of you remains.

It means there was a lot of rain in France.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • A flood in Lourdes is no different than a tornado in Oklahoma.

That article deserves a double facepalm.

Trads need to watch out for this type of sensationalistic BS. Falling for this kinda stuff will eventually turn you into an effeminate drama queen. The devil is very clever, if he can't turn you into a fruit he'll make you act like one.

  • There have been two floods in Lourdes in the very recent past.  The first was on the day relics of John Paul 2 were supposed to be put on public display.  The flood prevented the display (at least on the planned day).  The second was on the day the Vatican announced a miracle (as yet undisclosed) that clears the way for John Paul 2's canonization for the Church of Modernism.

While Lourdes has not been destroyed, both floods came at a time that, I think, was meant to communicate our Lady's and our Lord's displeasure with what is being done in the name of this heretic pope.

  • Certainly God can use a flood to show His displeasure. I remember reading something about this in Genesis.

Thanks for the clue on flood 2. Can you tell us more on that?

BTW, you said "heretic pope". Is this not an oxymoron?

  • It's real. Really wet. Really rainey. Really big flood. Really no different. Really just weather. Really a natural occurrence.

I have no further information on either flood other than what is available on the news.

As for your second item, of course "heretic pope" is an oxymoron but so many people accept the possibility and, in fact, vehemently condemn anyone who do not take it for granted, given recent history, that popes can, indeed, be heretics.  I use the term tongue in cheek just to tweek Conciliar Catholics (another oxymoron).
