I know this has been brought up before, but give me a break!

Like the Novus Ordo, they are destined for failure because of their aversion to Tradition the Catholic Faith.

Catholic Answers is in the middle of a severe financial shortfall. To protect the ministry's future, we have had to take several very painful steps:

    We have had to let several staff members go.
    The remaining staff has taken pay cuts averaging 26%.
    We will not be filling additional positions to expand the ministry's work.
    We have had to cut back on our current apostolic efforts because we simply do not have the people.

Even after making these cuts, we still need to raise about $300,000.

We very much need help from our forum members to overcome the current shortfall and get the ministry back where it needs to be.

I know I posted about this in the past, that something very, very odd was going on over there.

I had an 'in' over there and offered to help them at a substantial discount on an IT issue they had.

Since I did what they needed for a living I knew exactly what it would cost, and their appeals for money concerned me because I (naively) thought they were being taken advantage of because of the amount they claimed they needed.

They didnt really want help with this it turns out. They just wanted to pass the hat around (funny, if I recall correctly the number then was about 300K as well).

They are not good stewards with the vast donations they receive.

I think it's cute how they call their forum a "ministry."

I thought it's rather protestant ------ disgusting, really.
