I should also point out that there is NO evidence that even one KFC employee did anything bad.
That is to say, this woman needed money for the girl's medical bills and she might have cooked up this whole story. She might have blackmailed KFC's reputation in order to get money (which she did! KFC is trying to salvage their smeared reputation by settling out-of-court for $30,000).
I mean, usually the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If the grandfather is 1st class trailer trash, what does that say about his ex-wife? She obviously lived with him for years, was attracted to him, etc.
Let's just say it has me wondering.
In a world like this, with so many lawyers, unscrupulous persons, etc. it might be wise to have cameras filming at the ordering counter at restaurants, just like we have at banks.
I didn't even think of that aspect, and I'm suspicious of everything. You may very well be right.
I was kind of thinking the same thing. And I think there is a lot of this going on right now.
This seems to be a new way to raise funds in this age of social media.
I don't use Facebook, Twitter, Google Friends or whatever it is called. And if this were my daughter or granddaughter, the last thing I would do is post it on these sites.
However, I think I would have shamed anyone who dared make such a request. And I most likely would have asked them to leave. I would do this even if I had to yell, scream, or even kick some ass. And that would be the end of it.
