  • So, Traditio claims that they're "Camel mess" was novus ordo. Really? Well it wasn't. It happened at the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach.

Here's the video clip originally from the Huffington Post.

I rofled until I realized it was just some protestant service anyway, and then I was like, "Whatever, they're always doing stuff like this. Surprise, surprise."

It is funny, though, just, it wasn't novus ordo people doing it.  :laugh1:

  • Was there anybody hurt? That camel is very heavy.
There must have been serious injuries.
There is no need for a live camel to tell the story of
    the nativity.
I am sure that this is a protestant service.  There
is a church in my area that you can bring your
horses. Never heard anything getting out of line.

  • Not the first time -- or the last -- where Traditio lied, misrepresented, and distorted to suit their sedevacantist agenda.

They think nothing of slander and calumny. They think it's justified if it's "for the cause".

They lie about the SSPX all the time.

Do they suppose that St. John the Baptist would have been justified in making up evils about Herod and spreading them? Or distorting/twisting everything Herod did (or didn't do) to be something evil? Or hating Herod in general, so that he can "do no good"?

No, the Saint only spoke up when there was an obvious, public evil.

  • Found this in confirming voracity. Wow, so much for a "conservative" bishop for the novus ordo...

"Thanksgiving is a time of the year when people are open to the Lord, and we don't think about ourselves. We're grateful to God. We're conscious that somebody, some call him or her, whatever you want, somebody beyond us is in charge, and we are immensely grateful."

Really? Whatever you want? That sounds like blasphemy.

  • Thanksgiving can be positive for Catholics, if we recall it is our fore-bearers that came to America firstand the first Thanksgiving dinner, etc.

Can be positive chance to evangelize non-Catholics...

    Canbe a time for friends/family.

butto rejoice that Puritans landed in NE, spreading heresy and their judized religion and search for the lost tribes,etc-noreason to rejoice..esp not if you area NE Indian, almost decimated when Puritans turned on you and they are good at turning quick and violent on those in their way.....

  • I comment on them too. Does that mean I like them? No, but I will use their accurate references to start discussion on actual events, and will call their bogus bologna when they spew it, as above.

  • Don't go to hard on Traditio.  They finally issued a disclaimer on the camel mess, viz.
Although the news source originally reported this incident as having occurred at a Novus Ordo church, later sources indicated a Fundamentalist Baptist Church. Whichever is the actual case, the salient point is that one can't really tell the difference any more between a Novus Ordo church and a Protestant church!
I prefer to think they made a mistake and acted carelessly.  That' not the same as being dishonest.  Traditio "fathers" put out a lot of useful information for my money.

  • Yeah, well, that's nice and all. I do read their stuff, and also, I check the authenticity by doing the research into issues myself, which is what everyone should be doing anyway. You can't just take someone's word for something, especially this day and age. As I said, I don't particularly like them per se, but I do get info from them, and if it's interesting, or relevant, I'll check out the sources.

No, in this day and age, you can't take the word of many as gospel, including the Traditio "Fathers."  Nor do you throw out the baby with  the bath water.  You yourself admit that you "get info from them."  I do as well.  Do they bat 1000%?  Of course not.  But they go often where other trads fear to tred.

  • I don't think I ever said I was "throwing the baby out with the bathwater." I do miss the times where you could go to Traditio and get 100% accurate information... when FATHER MORRISON was actually running it.

I really don't like these "fathers" that are there now. I think a lot of their comments are very spiteful and I think that's why you get a lot of the response you get from people about them now. Father Morrison was VERY charitable, and I think if you look back at the old posts by Father, there is a STARK contrast to how HE treated people, and how the "fathers" treat people.

    Just my take on it.
