  • There is nothing "light hearded" about Bill Maher.  He is an enemy of all that Catholics hold dear.  He's vulgar, obcene and his language, even in front of live audiences, is atrocious.

I would not have linked to this interview if it contained all you mentioned.  In this case, Maher is only the vehicle by which Kasparov expresses himself.

  • Let the real Bill Maher step forward.  Viewers are warned that the following link contains much obcenity-laced and violent language.  Do not permit your children to view the incredible outburst and bad behavior of this "light hearted" fellow.

  • I just realize now, the Kasparov interview occurred just after the incident you posted.

No it wasn't.  Nor was it I using the F-word and instructing his goons to "kick" you-know-what in the audience.  It was the gentle, light hearted Bill Maher.  By the way, 'Kasparov' was born with the surname Weinstein.  He's a political agitator and trouble maker in the mold of his Bolshevik spiritual ancestors of the earlier 20th century.  He's really tight with U.S. neocons, I understand- such illustrious figures as Richard Pearl and Paul Wolfowitz.  He also, it is reported, has Mossad ties from his past.  Just what Russia needs!
He cries: "Now my country is not free.  It's a police state." When was Russia ever free?  It's been awhile, hasn't it?  And the likes of Weinstein, alias 'Kasparov' are not likely to make it any freer.

  • Hmm,

Well, I shared this story with in an entirely different mindset.  I lost/invested about 10 years of my life in chess in the 90's during which I reached respectable levels of competitive play.

During these years of course, I've been very much acquainted with Kasparov and have always been impressed by his capacity to disable the opposition with his confidence alone.  I found alot  of this in the interview where he even interrupts the questions to provide the answer only to receive applauds.  Many others doing this would be perceived has rude.

I suppose it was his style, which I was familiar with that pushed me to share the interview.
