Well, I shared this story with in an entirely different mindset. I lost/invested about 10 years of my life in chess in the 90's during which I reached respectable levels of competitive play.
During these years of course, I've been very much acquainted with Kasparov and have always been impressed by his capacity to disable the opposition with his confidence alone. I found alot of this in the interview where he even interrupts the questions to provide the answer only to receive applauds. Many others doing this would be perceived has rude.
I suppose it was his style, which I was familiar with that pushed me to share the interview.
