  • Banned for being a duplicate account.

His previous account was banned for "dogmatic home-aloneism" which is defined as a person who holds that all Catholics, to avoid mortal sin, MUST stay at home, regardless of where they live. They could live next-door to a CMRI chapel, an SSPX chapel, or an independent chapel -- and they still must stay at home on Sunday to avoid grievous sin.

I've said it many times before -- extremist kooks like this are NOT welcome on CathInfo.

CathInfo is for Traditional Catholics, not cultists, nutjobs or weirdos.

The official CathInfo position is the commonly accepted one -- that Vatican II began the OPEN Crisis in the Church (i.e., the eruption on the surface; Modernism was stewing under the surface for decades before this).

The Crisis -- and the reason for the Traditional Movement -- did NOT begin with the Council of Trent, Vatican Council I (that's ONE, not TWO), or any other Council.

Old Catholics (those who rejected Vatican I) are NOT welcome here. If I find out about one, he will be summarily banned. I won't even keep a token one or two around for "flavor". I'm talking instant ban.

I feel almost as strongly about "dogmatic" Home Aloners. After all, they are heretics who believe Our Lord could fail in his promise to not let the gates of Hell prevail against the Church.

After all, if the Perpetual Sacrifice has ceased, I'd call that a failure! If there are no valid priests left, HOW can you say the Church has not failed?

And I'm sure that the Church has condemned the petite eglise position that the Church can be "hidden" and/or that physical Sacraments are not morally necessary for salvation.

  • Matthew I'm a weirdo but orthodox.  Am I okay?

Seriously.  That was a good post.  I'm against the hidden hierarchy (and Novus Ordo hierarchy) myself.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church
