I post on a community forum for my local community. I've been pretty active in posting in the 'Christians' threads... usually to defend the anti-catholic sentiment.

Recently this bastard posted this video of Bishop Williamson (that video) and went down the whole 'Catholics are Jєω haters' road. While I don't normally discuss these things there, I defended his position and was treated like a damn idiot and felt pure hate coming for people. I told them they were being nothing but emotional, and I had a right to question the figures. Anyways, I'm just really bothered. I thought I was doing good by defending so many anti-Catholic agitprop, and now feel like I've lost all credibility because of this issue. Bummer.

I think I"m really frustrated because I couldn't let them just attack +Williamson, but I knew when I did defend him, that would be it for my little mission I had there. I did really good too, because almost everything about Catholics when I got there was pure lies. When I challenged people on the truth of the matter, they shut up.

So basically, you've ruined your reputation amongst people who's "reputations" so to speak are in jeopardy on Judgement Day. I wouldn't let them get to you, s2s. Just know that you are right and that you are definitely pleasing God by defending the Catholic Faith. In reality, your credibility is a lot higher than any of their's is. Keep fighting my friend, and God will reward you.

It's a delicate mission to undertake, especially if all one can do is regurgitate Michael Hoffman/David Irving Youtube and blogger quotes with a few disjointed statistics from sources unknown or irrelevant to most of the population.

The best course of action is not to attack their subconcious faith in this event directly, but to raise questions like "Why is this more important than the Communist slaughters in China and Russia?" or why should this single event be manipulated half a century later to get support for Israel, etc. In other words, try questioning the aftermath and fruits of the event rather than the event itself.

Thanks SS- you're right. I think this may be a lesson that I haven't been focusing on my interior life again. The reign of Mary will not come through me, but her. She will place me where I need to be, when I need to be.

Think of who you are up against. These are the same guys who applauded elephant dung smeared over a picture of the Blessed Virgin, and reviled Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ".

Sin darkens the intellect. Those guys don't even have a pin-hole to let some light in.
