Michael Sestak does it again...
I appreciate the video, but I disagree with some of his "commentary" posted under the video.
It isn't the faithful Catholics, or Bishop Williamson, who are responsible for any "rift" in the SSPX, any more than the SSPX is responsible for its "rift" with Rome.
In both cases, the faithful Catholics stood firm and steady, keeping faithful to the truth and to Tradition, while the larger body moved away from it.
In the dispute between Bishop Williamson and Bishop Fellay, I wholeheartedly support Bishop Williamson.
Sure, Bishop Fellay is a bishop, and I respect him as such. But so is Bishop Williamson! And I can say that Bishop Williamson is a GOOD bishop and represents the cause of Truth in this particular dispute. He's certainly a good guy. That much I know for sure, and that much I can state definitively. Whether or not it's a fight between two good guys, I'm not certain. I don't know about Bishop Fellay's soul or motivation, nor am I his judge.
I do know that we can no longer pretend the two bishops are united, because they're not. You can pray for them both, including for the intention that they be re-united, but aside from that you pretty much have to pick a side. I've picked my side.
