The last film I saw in the theater was Apocalypto. Before that, Passion of the Christ. I bought the DVD's for The Departed and Hotel Rwanda also.
I also have DVD's of classics, such as The Godfather I and II and Key Largo. On Christmas Day I watched Miracle on 34th Street. According to the "Making of..." docuмentary that accompanies it, the screenwriter for that movie was inspired by the disgusting commercialism he saw while shopping for a present for his daughters in 1946. Can you imagine his reaction today?
