I can't believe how much willpower it took me today to NOT turn on the air conditioning!

November 2nd!

It was 86 degrees with high humidity -- a few degrees from the all-time high (again!) It was miserable in our house for a few hours. We're supposed to be getting a cold front tonight, but until it gets here, it feels like good old September!

I wish I had a dime for every time we tied a record, or came within a degree or two of the record. Something is going on, the only question is: what?

The weather is not just freak, it is abnormal! It is so cold so cloudy and no rain whatsoever!

Yeah, last weekend we had snow; it was nasty and freaky--it frightened most people for some reason.

Matthew I'd rather bundle up and stay warm than boil like that. A major mortification not using the AC (the most glorious modern invention IMO)

The Missouri River near Saint Louis is so low that large islands in the middle of the channel are showing. I've never seen the river this low.
