Is Francis alright? I heard he was sick. Considering he has only one functioning lung, this could me serious. Oremus pro eum.

Vatican Radio's coverage of the morning Mass includes several clips of Pope Francis' homily, delivered in a slightly hoarse voice.

Because he was not feeling well and his agenda included meetings that easily could be postponed, the pope decided to "consolidate his rest" and take the remainder of the day off, Father Lombardi said.

Already May 15, Father Lombardi had announced that the pope decided to postpone a planned May 18 pastoral visit to Rome's parish and Shrine of Our Lady of Divine Love to rest up for his visit to Jordan, Palestine and Israel later in May.

However, the pope kept a packed schedule of meetings with ambassadors and with Mexican bishops making their "ad limina" visits May 15.

When the pope was 21, the upper half of his right lung was removed after cysts caused a severe lung infection. He has said the episode never caused him further health problems.

Let's hope he recovers his health but postpones for ever all the visits he has planned in the company of non-Christian leaders. This bad company gives the impression to the world that all religions are equal and undermines the Holy Roman Catholic Church as the only way of possible salvation. It seems that is a calculated step towards the heresy of religious indifferentism. Exactly what the world and the ʝʊdɛօ-Masonic forces that controls it wants to see!

I saw a story yesterday where he refused the Popemobile for his trip to the Middle East and will be riding out in the open.

I could see him being shot and killed in Jerusalem. ...

and then rising from the dead for the world to see.

I have nothing personal against Francis. It's the lack of Catholicism he espouses that I don't like. Hope he gets better.

Certainly it should not be personal on our part, but his un-Catholic behavior and making common cause with his Master's enemies is indeed distressing.

If he converts I wonder if it will be enough for all the people he has led astray.

He bears the title of the pope of the rcc afterall.

I feel he will be held accountable to a very high degree for every single utterance he spewls.

But going without the Popemobile in the Middle East? Is he daft?

Israel might be the safest place in the Middle East, but all the Christian parts are in the worst places, aka disputed territory where there's loads of infighting.
