This happened during a retreat for peace.  Jesus is the way to peace.  Were these people given any Catechism, education or even bibles?   Or were they encouraged to continue worship to their false gods in the name of ecuŠ¼enism?    Any Christian who breaks the first Commandment lacks charity and humility to Jesus.  Because of lack of respect and humility for Jesus, many people have lost the faith and Christians world wide are being attacked.

I believe that the predominant religion of the people is Christian, a large portion of whom are Catholic.

Actually, all he is doing is exemplifying the practice of the new religion, showing he has the full understanding of it wherein man is Deified.
