    The rule of the Jesuits is that they are not to accept appointments to the episcopacy. There is an exception in that if the Holy Father says that there is a need then they are obliged to obey the Holy Father.

    • This happened during a retreat for peace.  Jesus is the way to peace.  Were these people given any Catechism, education or even bibles?   Or were they encouraged to continue worship to their false gods in the name of ecuмenism?    Any Christian who breaks the first Commandment lacks charity and humility to Jesus.  Because of lack of respect and humility for Jesus, many people have lost the faith and Christians world wide are being attacked.

    I believe that the predominant religion of the people is Christian, a large portion of whom are Catholic.

    The issue is that whatever Francis is doing is not love. It's groveling to two tyrant world leaders in a pathetic attempt for "peace". 

    Poche, Central Africa is one of the world's poorest, most violent and despondent areas. There are some decent countries that have overcome their problems, but most of the region has not. Whatever Francis is trying to do is useless.

    Once again Poche, foot fondling is not a true act of charity. If Pope Francis truly loved these men he would tell the Mohametans to abandon their false religion, believe in the Trinity and enter the Catholic Church.
