That Voice, Which Now Is Subservient to the Anti-Catholic Newchurch of the New Order
Francis-Bergoglio Will Now Silence
After 85 years Francis-Bergoglio is silencing Vatican Radio. The historic radio station on January 1, 2017, became merely a cog in the bureaucratic miasma known as the Newchurch Secretariat for Communications. Thus, Francis-Bergoglio is destroying yet another vehicle of Catholic culture, inaugurated by famed scientist and Nobel Physics laureate, Guglielmo Marconi, a Catholic, who erected the first radio tower inside the walls of Vatican Gardens at no charge, and introduced Pope Pius XI in the first broadcast on February 12, 1931, in the following words:
I have the highest honor of announcing that in only a matter of seconds the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Pius XI, will inaugurate the Radio Station of the Vatican City State. The electric radio waves will transport to all the world his words of peace and blessing. With the help of Almighty God, Who allows the many mysterious forces of nature to be used by man, I have been able to prepare this instrument which will accord to the Faithful of all the world the consolation of hearing the voice of the Holy Father. Most Holy Father, the work that Your Holiness has deigned to entrust to me, I today return to you... May you deign, Holy Father, to allow the entire world to hear your august words.
Then the waiting world heard via radio broadcast the Latin address of Pope Pius XI, written by the Pope himself, imbued with passages from the Sacred Scriptures that emphasized the universality of the Gospel message:
[We who, by the hidden plan of God, We succeed in the place of the Prince of the Apostles, of those whose doctrine and preaching was certainly destined by the divine command to all nations and to every creature, and of those who first in this very place can take advantage of using the truly miraculous work of Marconi, first turn to everything and everyone, with the Sacred Text assisting here and beyond, and We say: Hear, O Heavens, what I say. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth. Let everyone hear these things, everyone who inhabits the earth, both the wealthy and the poor as one, that you are understood with their ears. Hear, islands, and give heed, peoples from afar.]
In an era when happenings inside the Vatican were largely unknown to the rest of the world, the sound of the Pope's voice was met with excitement. L'Osservatore Romano reported on the public enthusiasm with which the broadcast was met in Rome:
Yesterday in Rome all the radio sets were turned on; groups of people gathered around the wonderful apparatus to listen. Wherever there was a radio set available, people would crowd around it. Loudspeakers were placed outside many electric and appliance shops, or outside the offices of the newspapers. There are crowds everywhere, blocking the traffic in some areas....
In London, the News Chronicle reported:
For the first time the voice of a Pope was heard in London, and by millions of other believers about the world.... 3,500 Catholics stood for hours in Westminster Cathedral waiting to hear the voice of the Pontiff.
And an editorial in the New York Herald reported:
Few events in the history of the world can compare with the profound impact the Head of the Holy Roman See made during his address directed to the entire planet.... and such a thing could not have been foreseen by any preceding Pope. This is a miracle of science, and no less a miracle of faith."
True Catholics, like so much Catholic that the Vatican II Anti-council (1962-1965) and its Newpopes have destroyed, independent Vatican Radio ends an era. The move is part of Francis-Bergoglio's "reorganization" of Newcurial offices. Programs will be broadcasted for the near-term future, but will eventually be silenced. Programs have been broadcasted since 1931 in Latin and 44 vernacular languages via short wave, medium wave, FM, and satellite. That voice, which now is subservient to the anti-Catholic Newchurch of the New Order, Francis-Bergoglio will silence. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by Catholic World News.]
