  • Some of the strongest and most pious leaders in the Faith are in France.  Traditional French Catholics are among the most devout souls in the world.  However France also suffered the attack on the Faith during the French Revolution and today is awash with secularism and Islam.  Why is France a home for such polar passions?

  • Have you ever MET a Frenchman?

    Voila!

    ( Just keeding, Mon-sure! )

Actually, all you'll get is a bunch of partially-informed guesses.  It's like asking what would America be like if the English hadn't succeeded against the French and Spanish.

I've studied politics and history for a long time and the more you learn, the more you realize you've only begun to scratch the surface.

I love France.  But some of zee French, zey - how you say? - don' luv me!

  • I remember when Bishop Williamson mentioned in one of his interviews within the past few years about France for the New Testament being like the tribe of Judah in the Old Testament. It is where there is both the best and the worst.
