  • From The Missal-Vesperal with Commentary: Containing in Latin and English, with Explanatory Notes, the Masses and Vespers of All the Feasts and Ferias of the Liturgical Year and the Feasts Proper to Certain Places (Cleveland, OH: Notre Dame College & High School, 1932), here is the votive Mass for imploring the grace of a happy death.

  • From the tome Kyrie Eleison: Two Hundred Litanies with Historico-Liturgical Introduction and Notes by Rev. Fr. Benjamin Francis Musser, O.F.M. (Westminster, MD: The Newman Bookshop, 1944), here is a Litany to implore the grace of a happy death.

  • It is an excellent practice to devoutly receive Holy Communion each time that we are privileged to do so as if it would be our last, for we do not know if we are to ever approach the Communion rail again...

  • Thank you for posting this, as you know I have recently watched my husband take his last breath, and it was apparent that he saw something supernatural, with the priest at his side praying for him.  He experienced the death we all pray for by my observation.
    Please pray for my soul.
