EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear Plastic Surgery, someone is getting their nose readjusted, implants, whatever. It has honestly been YEARS since I last heard of someone having plastic surgery done to fix a deformity.

No worries.  Sorry I didn't elaborate, Catholic Samurai.  I can see where not reading the article/watching the footage would be misleading in terms of subject matter.  

I understand what you mean in way of Plastic Surgery for no reason and that pretty much sums up my topic.  The little girl did not need surgery.  She had an imperfect ear but that is so minor compared to the bigger picture of things.  It was a borderline deformity that could be easily covered, it wasn't as though she had burn marks all over her face, etc...
