  • I just received word today that, due to Fisher More College (FMC) having shut down, the associated Fisher More Academy (FMA) is shutting down, too, due to poor enrollment. FMC gave FMA much credibility and helped boost its enrollment, but Bp.(?) Olsen having unjustly banned the Latin Mass at FMC destroyed FMA as well.

  • If a self-proclaimed Catholic school won't profess the Catholic Faith, then it is a veritable act of charity for it to be closed down.

No offense meant, but do you have this information from a thoroughly reliable source? If so, would you be kind enough to reveal what that source is?

Please note that there is no announcement on the college's website suggesting that the college itself (i.e., as opposed to its academy) is shutting down. Indeed, there is nothing more recent on the Welcome page than the May 22 notice that "the business operations and programs of the College proceed as usual into normal summer mode. An announcement regarding fall courses and enrollment will be made as soon as it is possible."
