  • Have you ever read the book by William Golding called, "Lord of the Flies"?  That's Fisheaters at this point.   I recently posted a topic where a feminist demeans Catholic males in Fisheaters, and out come the feminists about eight or nine posters with the usual name calling, which I usually ignore over there.

I didn't realize how lousy that place is with people who pretend to be Catholic and harbor such supreme hostility to Traditionalists.

It was astonishing to me a few days ago, but it's become even more clear to me now.

Considering by whom the place was run, it's not surprising that it has a coterie of malignant and unhelpful posters.

One poster in particular who scornfully dismisses other Catholics, claims to have been in Traditional circles for many years.  He then claims to know that Traditional Catholic males are morally and economically inept.

Interestingly, if anyone has been helped by ggreg in terms of your bottom line.  Send me a line.  If he's spreading malicious gossip about the SSPX he's probably lying about a lot of other things as well.

I got banned at FE and I'll never go back to that place again.

It was practically dead when I arrived there five or six years ago, and it'll be a regular ghost town before long.

I'll accept ggreg's bank statement comparison, btw.  Like I said, I think he's full of hooey.

  • One of the posters who was trying to take exception to the feminist non-sense going on there, Telemanque, apparently has a history with the various female posters who've decided to label him with various derogatory names like "stalker" and so forth.

There's no police report of any of what he's been accused of,  and as far as I know the humiliating social position he involved himself with seems pretty insignificant.  It's actually a story as old as time, young man wants to get to know young woman, but her father doesn't want him to have anything to do with her.

This situation was exploited by a group of feminists on the board to heap what looked to me to be emotionally and socially damaging ridicule and slander on Telemanque.

At one point, one of the particularly nasty posters, ErinisNice, aka Erin N, actually put Telemanque's photograph in her profile avatar and Photoshopped the words, "Creepers will creep".

One of the only male posters that was particularly vindictive, CollegeCatholic, apparently attends an Institute of Christ the King Chapel, also participated in the slander and calumny.

From what I understand, it's a serious mortal sin to reveal or lie about another's faults in public forum.

As for ggreg, you're a fraud and you're pretty mean spirited to attack people the way you do on traditionalist men in general because they don't meet a standard that it's doubtful you yourself are capable of.

You repeatedly refuse to address my assertions , and the fact is, there's no moral justification for the way that you insult traditionalist men.

It's pretty clear that you despise the traditionalists  you sit next to in the pews with while you make salacious and slanderous insinuations about the character of an entire class of men, legitimating the insults piled on by the rest of the forum members, the irony is that you do it without meeting those qualifications for manhood in your own right.

Hey, if you repeat the big lie enough...

  • Augstine, I appreciate you sticking up for the truth on those FE threads. Seeing what went down when you posted that blog article from some Left-wing "Catholic" shows the complete lack of discernment skills over there. It also shows why I don't like FE overall, many are quite comfortable with the ethos of modern society, thinking like 19th century Liberal Catholics that Liberalism or in this case feminism was Catholicism's long lost best friend.
    Pray for me, always.

The people who attacked Tele because he wants his bride to be a virgin showed themselves to be at the best very ignorant of many past Catholic cultures, societies, and social teachings which always took female chastity very seriously.

It hadn't occurred to me that their malice, and malice it is, was born of envy.

I agree with your assessment wholeheartedly.  They routinely malign innocent guys all the time for reasons I can only suspect are guilt.

As you probably know, as +Sheen describes [not that I agree always with his use of Jungianism and Freudianism]  but people can project their interior sins onto others, particularly in attacks as vitriolic and unjust as this.

  • The stalking and bullying behavior of the females on that forum is very telling of the kind of ethos lurking there, and perhaps, in Traditionalist chapels here and there where petulant rebellions against legitimate moral, parental and connubial authority are probably a lot more common than we'd like.

Feminist-tinged females have a love-hate relationship with the purer strain of traditionally Catholic men ( those who are truly against the world and not halfway in it ).

Hate:  Because they don't like being put in their place, or having their thoughts corrected by a man.

Love:  Because they can't respect a man who doesn't put them in their place.

The dynamic is very much like the one between Batman and Catwoman in Tim Burton's Batman Returns.  The pop-culture reference should please Fisheaters types, lol.  She says "I'd love to live with you in your castle, Bruce...  But I just... couldn't... live... with myself!" Then she attacks him.

Comic-book movie or not, it's obvious the theme here is feminism and / or female rebellion in general, which is a huge part of the present apostasy.  Women know their best chance to be happy, unless they're celibate, is to find a good Catholic man to marry.  But if they do, they worry that their wings are being clipped.  So they choose to be unhappy and do things their way rather than God's way.  The choice is between "free and unhappy" vs. "shackled and happy."  The eternal dilemma of woman.  ( A third choice, and the most prideful of all, is to live an unhappy life but pretend to be happy, much more common than you'd think ).

This is where humility comes in, learning to be simple.  But the modern world and the colleges make women complex and overly brainy, and they think it's a good thing. Even traditional Catholic women who have had this exposure  to the modern world become prickly, neurotic, always wanting more, never able to appreciate what they do have.  I have talked to certain women who always have these absurd ambitions, they try to do too much.  Whether they know it or not, they're imbued with all that propaganda of "I may be a girl, but I can do what you can do!"
As I was a new convert when posting here, my posts are often full of error, even unwitting heresy and rash judgment, all of which I renounce, and all my writings are best avoided -- MDLS

Was this before Quis released the prisoners, or were you just banned within the last few days ?

  • I just found and reread your thread. On the first page, they already trash trad guys who are porn addicts because the "blame women for dressing improper." Really, whether I'm an addict or not, dressing trampy is going to be a stumbling block for most men. Flipping to the end of the 113 pages, Someone1776 asks what happened to AugBaker, did one of the spam mods ban him? ColCath claims the spam mods didn't ban him so it must have been the  Vox. That would't surprise me. In her about page for the site, she goes off on a short tangent about how women were previously treated as childlike and bits of froth nothingness. She seems to have this feminist bent. So, now that Czar Quis is gone, Czarina Vox returns to rule with the iron fist. Glad I found other forums to visit.

There are times when you have to separate yourself from emotions, objects, habits and people who are poisonous.

If they're not going to listen, I can't help that.  I'm confident that everything I've said is true.

Like I said, though, that forum is dead.  The cognitive dissonance created between the group that intellectually dominates the forum with their penchant for depraved cultural norms and intellectual currents is completely incompatible with a Catholic witness.

I don't care if you attend the NO, are a home aloner, SSPVer, or whatever kind of Catholic you happen to be.

No Catholic at any time would support or cheer on contumely [bullying and malicious ridicule] or revel in impurity and unchastity.

If countries can be inhabited by the Devil and his minions, so too can other societies like internet forums.

I always wanted to be helpful in this medium, and to get help from others toward living the Catholic Faith.  Sometimes I'm not always happy by the form that help has come, in a chastisement, or even a very nasty person making slanderous remarks about my person, but I"m grateful for this life, and grateful I've met Telemaque and a few other Catholics like yourself who share the Faith of our Fathers [and Mothers]

  • I have to agree with AB, I also have been banned by FE due to being a 'troublemaker'? Just three days ago. Which was beyond laugable as I have been a member since 2005 and I posted a total of 210 times. The strangest part is I'm banned AFTER I offer Czarina Vox a CAR! This is after she posted a troubling synopsis of what's going on in her life and my husband and I felt that she could have the car free and clear. I mean it borders on insanity.

However I do have a question. I do work outside the home, am female so does that somehow equate in Trad eyes that I'm feminist? I know about 5 years ago Bp. Williamson wrote an article about women in the workplace and it wasn't our 'place' to be. However we honestly do not live in a time where that can occur (at least not in the US culture). I have an advanced degree that is in the medical field. If I could have a dream it would be like Doc Baker on Little House on the Prairie...The opportunity in some way could occur by I won't hold my breath. Thoughts?

You can very well live with your husband working only, you just have to live within your means.

All my friends who are married support their families alone. Some have more money then others. The Lawyers have big homes, the others rent but they manage to support themselves, their wives and their ever increasing in number children.

I do believe you are at the very least mildly influenced by the pagans into believing you need things that which you do not, and into believing that you need to have both work. It is an economic fact that if all women ceased to work wages would triple as per supply and demand(you also need to curtail immigration) most of these liberal movements are designed to destroy the family unit and feminism is no different.

Now under some abnormal circumstances it would be licit for a woman to work, however this should indeed in my opinion be limited to the extreme circumstances and hopefully be temporary. It looks bad on your husband that you work to be honest though I do not know your situation which could merit it.

I joined here just to respond to this post. You *must* be joking. I remember you from way back when (huggles!), and all of the, ahem, drama associated with you. I'm not going to detail everything that went on, but suffice it to say, you were something else. You had the whole forum going with your..um...life stories, shall we say? Not cool.
