  • I'd rather go to a concert in a Protestant church than to one in a Catholic church.

    A Catholic church is no place for concerts, whereas using a Protestant church for them doesn't seem quite so inappropriate.

    Exactly.

    I was actually going to ask about this - if one has to give a recital inside a Novus Ordo church, is it appropriate to give a pre-performance talk about some of the repertoire, etc?
