I remember when the Ancient Order of Hibernians claimed they would shut the parade down rather than cave in to the demands of the fαɢs. So much for integrity, I suppose.

I guess it was seen as a moot point when they heard that Natural Law is going to be "re-defined" next month.

St Patricks Day has already been secularized in America. There is no mention of the saint or the Catholic faith. The holiday just became another excuse to get drunk and party.

Or perhaps it's some poor deluded soul who fell for Impy's false piety / noble victimhood campaign...

Anyway it'd be nice if she / he would step right up and declare what it is that he / she finds so objectionable.

If the down-thumber is the same one who down-thumbed Matthew's post a few days ago about women not doing men's jobs, then I think he is off the reservation with regard to what is & isn't Catholic on two major social fronts--feminism & fαɢɢօtry--and should be banned.

Surely Matthew knows who it is. Whoever it is, isn't clear enough on Catholic teaching or isn't concerned about adhering to it closely. Anybody this mixed up can only be a hazard to others by their postings.

I couldn't agree more. They love to instill their poison everywhere they can even if it is only subtle. Any pro-homowhatever has no place on any Catholic forum. Except, of course, CAF, where they will be gladly welcomed. :read-paper:
