There is nothing spiritually uplifting in the Novus Ordo
Missae. It is to noisy, the music in many cases is terrible.
abuse is accepted. translations are false. The priest adlibs, and
substitutes his own words. Is there grace coming from these
Masses? Are they valid? Everything is horizontal, and
not vertical. Everything points to the earthly existence,
and not the afterlife.
This is my impression of the reformed mass when I
attended in the 1970's and 1980's.
I never get these impressions when I attend the 1962
Mass celebrated by the Priests of SSPX.
It must be that I am an older generation that
remembers when the Trinitine Mass was celebrated in
every Catholic Church throughout the world, and that
my early life was a sane time for the Catholic Church
because of its clear, and concise teachings, that is
still with me today.

RC, I was born after the Council and God has given me the grace to see the truth of Tradition and the madness of the suburban NO.

The folk and rock Masses are obviously ridiculous, but you will find conservative Novus Ordites and even some Neo Trads defend them under the guise of diversity. It is astounding.
