Exactly. No reason to be shy though, and its not like the FBI doesn't already know where you live -- its probably only a little while until they shut this place down for good. :wink:

My concern about the anonymity though is that I would like to have some idea of the kind of people I talk to on the forum. I would like be aware of the gender and age at least. Also, I would like to be aware of if they are affiliated with the SSPX, affiliated with a regularized traditional group, sedevacantist, conclavist, etc.

You realize if they could simply lie and say they are regardless of what they really are?

Anyway, the reason is i have made the mistake in the past of sharing information I shouldn't.

Just don't do it without very good reason, and never in a place everyone can see. It's just not worth the possible consequences.
