  • For whatever reason, he felt the need to cuss me out with a filthy tirade.

He couldn't even put some of it in English -- he cussed me out in German as well!

It's a shame. I had nothing against him. I looked back at several of his posts, and I thought we were on the same page.

Oh well. The devil will do his thing, even among the good guys.

  • Wow... Faber banned ?   :reading:

He was a very stable, nice man and I liked his shiny bald head.

I hope day you will institute a parole system where after three months, banned members can come back on CI if they promise to behave.

Filth, tirades, and cussing should never come from the mouth of, or be written by, a practicing Catholic.  It is a shame and a scandal.

I have read his posts here and on IA and it does surprise me.

For such incongruous behavior, it is worth considering.

I agree.  This seems entirely unlike Faber.  I rather doubt he would
be capable of such a thing.  But I have utterly NO doubt that he
would have serious enemies among the Menzingen-denizens, and
that they also have the character and ability to hack an account,
as VCR says, through Facebook or e-mail.

Perhaps the CI security may have been breached, in which case, it
bodes ill for all of us, especially Matthew!!!

I wish I knew Faber personally so I could check it out better.
I do know someone who lives near him but he's not a Resistance
member.  How about the monks at Nova Friburgo?  Maybe Faber
    knows some of them???

E.g., Dom Tomas de Aquino, OSB, Monastery of Santa Cruz Nova
    Friburgo Brazil.

This seems to be something to look into, as it might be a piece of
a puzzle going on around here.  CI has enemies, you know!! The
Menzingen-denizens are terrified of the Resistance!

It seems to me rather unlikely that someone with the culture and
education of Faber, living so near Dom Tomas, would not have at
least met him.  Faber speaks Portuguese, German and English all
fluently.  His posts have been most helpful and consistently so.
And if the M-ds wanted to assault someone they really are afraid
of, Faber would have been a front runner, IMHO, unlike many
others, including myself, unfortunately.  I would rather think of him
as somewhat of a model of behavior, and I rather looked up to
him and his example.  CI seriously needs members like Faber.

One more thing:  This happened on the 96th anniversary of the
revelation of the Third Secret of Fatima -- which arguably deals
directly with the nefarious agenda of the Menzingen-denizens!!

For example, here are three very recent posts of Faber's - Now,
who among us could ever rise to this level of effectiveness in
support of the Resistance?  Who among us could "cast the first
stone"???  Recall the sight of Our Lord, writing in the sand with
    his finger!

    Quote from: Ecclesia Militans
    June 21, 2013

    Dear Faithful of the Resistance,

It has been over a year now since a resistance movement started against the new direction of the SSPX leadership.  We've witnessed this past year the infamous CNS interviews of Bishop Fellay, the postponing of ordinations of those within religious communities, the awful six conditions of the 2012 SSPX General Chapter, the expulsion from the SSPX of Bishop Williamson and priests faithful to Archbishop Lefebvre, the persecution of the faithful by denying them the sacraments, and most recently the publication of a betrayal of the Catholic Faith, that is, the Doctrinal Declaration of Bishop Fellay dated April 15, 2012.  And despite all this, what have we heard the SSPX priests who have been especially formed to combat Liberalism and Modernism?  Next to nothing!  All but one SSPX bishop (Bishop Williamson) and a handful of SSPX priests have had the fortitude to stick their necks out for the sake of souls - Frs. Pfeiffer, Chazal, Hewko, Ortiz, Girouard - to name a few.  Some of the priests who did originally speak out were immediately silenced and have unfortunately remained silent.

In response to these outrages coming from the SSPX leadership, many of us had decided a while ago to leave the SSPX for good.  Others made that decision more recently.  However, we now firmly believe that enough has transpired for those supportive of the Resistance to make an exit from their SSPX chapels.  It should be clear to us by now that the public fight for the Faith in the SSPX bishops and priests has dissipated.  They are no longer doing what the Church has always done, that is, publicly condemn error no matter who is promoting it.  We thought that this silence from the SSPX priests would not be possible given their formation, but the facts over the past year speak for themselves.  We have painfully learned that it was easy for them to condemn error when those who were promoting it were at a distance and thereby have had very little impact on their daily lives.  But valor is tested when one's own welfare is at stake.  And it is sad to say that most SSPX priests have not shown the necessary fortitude when the fight for the Glory of God and salvation of souls presented itself in their own backyard.

Therefore, in the wake of this realization, we make an appeal to you to stop supporting, morally and financially, the neo-SSPX and its priests.  This includes abandoning the SSPX chapels for Mass.  We know it is a very difficult decision; we've had to go through the same.  The lack of peace is the soul’s great enemy, but we are now at peace because our actions are fully consonant with our beliefs.  The Faith comes first; everything else follows.  Remember that Joan of Arc was prohibited from receiving the sacraments; nonetheless, she persisted in her belief to the point of being burnt at the stake.  Who after her death was proclaimed a saint?  We ask, instead, that you place your full support behind those who now carry the torch of Archbishop Lefebvre and most importantly, Catholic Tradition.  This may then encourage more priests to come and join the Resistance.

Yours in Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,

    Stephen Camidge
    Alena Camidge
    Tony La Rosa
    Michal Leonczuk
    Marzena Leonczuk
    Alicia Rusche
    James Saul
    Christine Saul
    Anthony Wahl
    Shawny Wahl
    Burkhard Strauß

    I added my name.

I shun the SSPX since the General Chapter 2012, which explained that they're ready to submit to unconverted, modernist Rome. The SSPX had taught me to shun those who had done so before (FSSP, Rifan, ... ).

They've lost  the faith. They're the best trained troup of catholic priests and still they find whatever reasons to design or to accept the new course of their troup.

I don't attend their mass, I don't want to hear on judgement day: "Look, he joined the newly branded XSPX too."

How many among us added our name to this list????  HMMM???
    .

Burkhard Strauß, a.k.a. Faber, is a traditional Catholic who lives
in a remote area of Brazil, who had been traveling 40km several
times a year to go to Mass at the nearest SSPX chapel, but now
cannot bear to go there due to this apostasy in the ExSPX of
which he is aware, therefore, he will be relegated to making the
trip to the next closest (independent chapel??) which takes him
24 hours including flight time, which he can do once a year:

Do you have another option for Mass and the sacraments, or do you just stay home alone?

The nearest more or less monthly mass is a 24h trip by airplane, the nearest  weekly mass a two day trip. We currently afford a flight once a year.

The SSPX mass was (is) 40km three times a year.

It's fine and better to stay home together or alone than to meet heretics at a mass, where they call the new mass of Paul Paul VI. legitimate (see Council of Trent Sessio VII. - Canon XIII.)

In all justice, having the friends on CI of like mind for such
a man should be rather an important link for his prayer life,
since he is missing regular Mass and sacraments.

What would he do if he needs Extreme Unction?

    Call Kentucky???

    Correction:

"Faber speaks Portuguese, German and English all fluently."

He also has working knowledge of French.  Perhaps he knows
other languages too, such as Spanish, Latin, Greek, or Tagalog??

His participation here will be an enormous loss for us all and for
the greater cause of the Resistance!!!

  • Troll activity has certainly picked up, so a hacked account is worth consideration.
