  • What disgusts me very much is how Protestants try to convert Catholics.

I met this one "missionary" who boldly and proudly travels to the Philippines to preach to Catholics and win converts to his cult.

It's obscene how these blind fools think they are brave as anything for converting...Christians.

These wet noodles wouldn't dare go down to Mindanao (the Muslim island in the Philippines) or the Middle East to preach to the Islamists.  But they'll be happy to convert Catholics.

  • A friend of mine who was a muslim told me what he learned when he went to visit the local Protestant church in the area. He said (refering to Catholics) "These guys really hate you."

If he converts Novus Ordo Catholics that makes sense, because most Novus Ordos aren't really Catholic anyway.

  • They may be on the wrong side of the fence but at least they still believe in converting.

  • Ironically, the Novus Ordo really did pave the way for the catastrophic Protestant conversion rates in the Caribbean and Latin America. The Novus Ordo is essentially high church Anglicanism, so there isn't much of a leap to make into low Church Protestantism.

Capitalism and the destruction of the Church within culturally Catholic churches is also to blame. The Church had its own widespread charitable institutions, convents, schools, and monasteries in Latin America, but those have collapsed. Wealthy Protestants offer vulnerable Catholics food and money (and sometimes they sponsor them for American Visas) if they'll renounce Christ and become a Protestant. The same thing happened during the Irish potato famine.

It creates sectarian divisions where there were none and destroys the native Catholic culture of the people as they become radically individualistic and accept contraception and divorce, and other Protestant ideologies.

I never commend Protestants when they tell me what good works they're doing in my family's country of origin. They think they're doing everyone a favor, but they are truly destroying countries.

The instruments of darkness tell us truths,
Win us with honest trifles, to betray's
In deepest consequence.." Banquo, from Shakespeare's Macbeth
