I mean he isn't making ex cathedra statements so we can just ignore the Vicar of Christ right? Kinda like the embarrassing drunken uncle at the family reunion... right?

Well, I'm sure someone will be along to explain how all the Church Fathers and Doctors universally taught this, that you don't need to believe in God to see the beatific vision... implicit desire, invincible ignorance, natives trapped on desert islands and so on and so forth.
All these large helpings of cognitive dissonance today are making me puke. First the ex-KGB President of Russia writes an Op-Ed piece in the N(j)ew York Times giving peace and democracy lessons to the Nobel 'Peace Prize' winning, self-proclaimed leader of the free world, Barack Obama... and now this.
