  • It is interesting how the schism and Protestant Revolt of England was so much a prefigurement and microcosm of what would happen to the Catholic Church today with the coming of Vatican II and the New Mass. Any thoughts?

  • I know Michael Davies wrote extensively of this how the smashing of the altars in England was mirrored by the post-Vatican II period.

As for myself, I'm particularly interested in knowing just how much the new mass of Paul VI was modeled off the Lutheran worship services.

Where did the ridiculous "Hear our prayers" portion of the new mass come from?

  • Over the years I've heard numerous people say the same thing.

The protestors revolt was the first wave and it left the barque of Peter listing badly,  V2 was the second wave that submerged her leaving only the masts above water and with only a few small lifeboats afloat.

Now a lifeboat (SSPX) is under attack.

  • We have this french revolution right here in the USA just in a different fashion.  The New Order gets into immorality and then have to pay up.  They go bankrupt or they sell off churches and some do get the ball.  All of the New Order is restructured which was all done about 5 years ago.  Now all catholic new order dioceses must downsize by 25% overall.  You will see mergers, closures, priest resigning, ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ men as priest, which we have already, but it will be much more acceptable and don't forget the females!  I can not call them a lady or a woman.  This restructuring is nationwide.
