  • See why I don't like eBay/Paypal (same company)?

Since when is eBay the bastion of morality and goodness?

"We don't want kids to cheat in school, we want them to study and do their work, and get a good education for the betterment of society."

    ...yeah right!

Is they why they allow all kinds of anti-Catholic and immoral paraphernalia?

    951 items found for
    porn
    50 items found for
    satanism
    1233 items found for
    witchcraft

Oh, but eBay cares about the KIDS!  They are such a responsible, Christian company! We should all be behind them 100%!

So kids can't cheat on their homework, but they can buy a satanic altar, a bunch of porn, and a book of black magic? Can you say hypocrisy?

I think they're outlawing teacher's manuals to make it harder (more expensive) for families to homeschool. Remember, the government has actually printed manuals which identify "homeschooling" as one of the signs of a terrorist! Face the facts -- homeschoolers are terrorists now.

So all this "homeland security" stuff everyone's so supportive of, will very soon be turned on "domestic terrorists" who carry anti-semitic literature (the New Testament), indoctrinate their children (homeschooling), and are members of an authoritarian cult (the Catholic Church).

I wish it wasn't true, but it is.

    In Christ,

    Matthew

  • You know... stuff like this. Man. It makes me wonder, how we're going to work within the confines of the "system" in the future. The noose just keeps getting tighter and tighter. I'm only 21, and if the Lord blesses me with good health and a long life, I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive. How can we live in this pagan, antichrist world? Oh, saints and martyrs, show me the way - show me how you ran the race to the finish... and pray that I'll make it as well someday.

  • Quote from: Trinity
Isn't it amazing how fine they are grinding us?  Still a remnant will survive.  And it will only be a remnant because the majority surrender.

A little story for your encouragement C and N.  I homeschooled my youngest daughter and I was hauled into court for it.  We prayed night and day before our appearance, because to lose meant she might have been taken away and put in a foster home (it was considered neglect).  Our Lady heard more prayers than ever, I do assure you.

When all was said and done, the Judge found for us and ignored the county attorney who kept on arguing even after we all left the court room.  That was not the usual finding, either.  It was purely the result of our heavenly Momma taking care of her children.

Wow, those people are sick for persecuting you and your family. I'm so glad our Lady's intercession prevailed. God is so merciful ... that story gives me hope... but tempered with the grim realisation that we have a long battle before us. Kyrie Eleison.

  • I like stories like this because they illustrate the nature of the battle we are in.

Too many people today think that everything is "more or less" ok, and we can pretty much fit in with the world and still be Catholic. As if there is an option to be "on the world's side" and still be a faithful Catholic.

Unfortunately, Trinity's story hasn't hit the mainstream, national media. People would be horrified if they came to realize just how powerful (and anti-Catholic) our government has become. It would illustrate that there's a lot more wrong with the world than the Novus Ordo Mass. If the local bishop allows a "Latin Mass" in a single church (out of hundreds), once a week or twice a month, it does NOT mean the crisis is over for us Catholics. We are still in an apocalyptic battle for souls, with the devil's minions arrayed against Our Lord's brave warriors.

More and more, the government is showing its true colors. But by then, it will be too late for many. They will have had no time to prepare spiritually (nevermind physically!) We need to help them prepare -- at least by teaching people about the true nature of the world today, and by warning people that something bad is coming.

    In Christ,

    Matthew
