  • I highly recommend these free videos.

Fascinating, WELL worth your time. I learned a lot.

I've only had a chance to watch 2 of them, but the ones I watched I thoroughly enjoyed!

The *only* downside is that you have to ignore Mr. Hovind when he goes into "protestant preacher" mode. He considers himself a preacher.

But he has done a lot of research, and has compiled countless evidence in favor of Creation and debunking evolution. He is an invaluable resource.

I know what you mean about great videos and having to gag sometime at the messenger.  Even the Diamond brothers have a great video on Creation.

    Has anyone ever seen it?

Do traditional Catholics believe in evolution?

No, because it opposes the theology of creation, which was upheld by the Church until around St Pius X.
This theology of creation also teaches that the world indeed was built by God in seven (earth) days. Hardly anybody believes this today, anymore. Which just shows how intense the loss of Faith is.

Unfortunately, the modernists sneaked into the Church and began also to destroy the opposition to the unscientific evolutionism. At the minimum Pope Pius XII was already so much pro evolutionism that the Church stopped to condemn it in the same clear way as it still was condemned under St Pius X.

There's a nice book about the traditional theology of creation, co-written by SSPX Father Johannes Grün (Gruen) who spent several years in the US district and today is in the Australian district. Some of you could have had the pleasure to meet him. The book has unfortunately been withdrawn from circulation. It's too traditional for today's "standards".

  • By evolution, I mean the creation of new species over millions of years by the process of natural selection.

That is, genetic material being created rather than destroyed.

True scientists admit there is not one shred of evidence for a new species being created -- more genetic complexity coming from less.

  • Yes! This man is brilliant. I only hope he converts... he certainly deserves it with all the knowledge he's been given and the study he's devoted despite being painted as a lunatic for all these years. I love listening to him because he's so animated and brings people to reality about things, rather than beat around the bush. His points are concrete and really, impossible to argue with regarding "evolution."

  • What struck me is that if the lizards  were large, so were the men.  And people lived to great ages until after the flood.  Evidently it took us a few centuries to lose some of our original blessings.  I appreciate this thread very much.

  • I have a thread in the library with this link but it's probably buried, so for the new people I would highly recommend this site, it is a non-profit organization devoted to debunking evolution through science. It's founder was involved in making american missles, then computers etc into the early 80's.

He is a protestant but dosn't preach or have any religious comments whatsoever.

It is called Science against Evolution enjoy.

Yeah, I know. But I don't know how many people know that, thus the choice of example.
